Locked In Steel - Product Review

Submitted by: CBelted

I drove down to Washington, DC December 31st (2005) for a CB fitting with LIS at the Dark Odyssey Winter Fire Event. LNS owner Jillian Davis greatly impressed me with her product and product knowledge. She certainly knows her way around stainless steel and a machine shop. She put me completely at ease during the measuring and answered all my questions. In less than a month's time I will be receiving a TS CB with the Beer Cut Belt option. This will be my 1st CB with the ergonomic belt. Previously I've owned a number of belts, including a Jones and an Access Denied. Once I receive the belt and have spent some time in it, I will post a review.

Oh, anticipation!!!!!

I have only had my LNS belt for a short time. It was a long time in arriving but that was in part due to my agreeing that some prototyping could be done with it with the outsourced laser cutting. I chose to get the Drastic Curve waist belt, Slim Front plate and Comfort Chains. The waist belt has proved to be extremely comfortable because of the cut and the silicone liner, which is custom extruded for LNS. Since the liner is on the inside of the belt and extends over the edges of the belt it stays in place yet it can be removed for cleaning. Both the front plate and the penis tube are Plastisol coated and baked on. The stainless steel parts are laser cut. This does not bespeak of cheap jack manufacturing processes. As to the actual feeling of wearing the belt, it is the best of all the belts I have owned. This is the first belt I have been able to sleep in from the get go. Normally I sleep on my side and the other belts would cut off circulation to my legs because of pressure from the front plate being between them. I would also add that LNS has been available for consultation, ready to listen to my suggestions.

Unfortunately, two weeks after receiving my belt one of the guide pins and one of the lock pin broke off, so it was sent back to LNS for repair. Apparently they had a number of bad pins that would not swedge properly. I just received my belt back this week and when the front plate is attached to the belt and locked, it feels like a bank vault door shutting and locking. There is absolutely no movement on the pins. I have the drastic cut belt with the slim front plate and chains. It fits like the proverbial glove. This is the 6th S/S belt I've owned over the years and the most secure and comfortable. I can move more freely than in any of my previous belts. And I can sleep in it with no problems. This is a real test for S/S belts because many people have a hard time sleeping while belted. This may just be my experience but this belt works for me. Only wish I had one of these 25 years ago!

One of the problems steel belt wearers frequently have is being able to drive a vehicle while belted. I've found that cars that have you seated in a stretched out position make it very uncomfortable to drive while belted, particularly if you have a manual shift. It gets more comfortable with upright seating, as found in vans and SUVs. I have a minivan and have found the LNS belt to be very comfortable while driving. It is a bit awkward getting in and out but that might be partly due to my short stature. I do find that I am very aware that I'm belted and really have to concentrate on my driving. Of all the belts I've owned, the LNS belt is the one I can do long drives in without any problems.

I think Locked In Steel has gotten over its startup and supplier problems and is now the Premier supplier of chastity belts in the USA.

Now that I've had a few more months under lock and key, I can only say that this has been the most intensive frustratingly satisfying head trip I've ever had. The belt has proven comfortable over the long run, extremely well made and totally secure. I think Locked In Steel has successfully filled the void left by the closing of Access Denied, and with a wider range of products. To paraphrase the old Packard slogan, "Ask the man who wears one". And this man says "2 Thumbs Up!".......
