Breakage Problems with CB2000 & CB3000Submitted by: PhiloxenosMay I begin by adding my thanks, praise and respect to the vast body of similar remarks directed to you Altarboy and recorded over many years in the messages on your website. Well done! I have been a reader for many years and I hope now that I might be in a position to make a positive contribution (albeit very small). I have the good fortune to be a well controlled lover of a beautiful but jealous Mistress, who insists on my being locked in a chastity device for the time that we are apart. This has been the case for about 6 years now. We started with one of the first CB2000s and when that broke moved to the CB3000. Unfortunately that too has broken. I thought this might be a fairly common ocurrence and have an idea for a solution which I hope you will let me publish on your site. The CB2000 locking pin broke after 4 years of fairly constant use with the, presumably, fairly constant force that tries to separate the A ring from the cage. In breaking, it also shattered the A ring at the point where the locking pin fits through it. The CB3000 has a similar strain breakage after 2 years on the A ring around the hinge. I The only A ring that I have found to be the right combination of security and comfort is the one with a 45mm internal diameter. So I have all the other rings for both CB2000 and CB3000 - but they are of little use to me. Rather than write to the manufacturers and buy replacements I thought there may be users of these devices who use different sized rings to me who have had the same problem and we could swap the rings we each do not need. So if anybody does have a 45mm A ring they do not use (either hinged or un-hinged, although I much prefer the un-hinged as I find the other does irritate) and they need one of the other sizes themselves - please send me an email and we can arrange to exchange them. I live in the UK, so a UK swap would be slightly more convenient. I hope that all makes sense (very dull I'm afraid for those not suffering the same problem). Many thanks for letting me use your site to publish my suggestion. My kindest regards Philoxenos
