Review of Gerecke Chastity Device

For almost a year I have been locked up with either a CB-2000 or CB-3000. Both devices are rather bulky and cause some discomfort from the size of the A-ring and from the compression of the ball sack and sports activities. I am fairly small and have little body fat and I am very active in sports, so I likely have more trouble than some people. However, since this was new to my wife and me - and since my wife was reluctant at first - we did not explore other options. Over time my wife has gotten more than enthusiastic because she likes the change in my behavior, so we decided to check other options.

After a lot of research we decided to try the Gerecke device: http://www.gerecke-kg.de/ Although it looks like a variation of the CB-2000 there are several major differences we thought would help us. Frank, the owner, has many models to choose from, and more importantly, will make custom sizes. Since they are metal, the bulk is much less than a CB-2000. He also has an optional integral lock that takes way less space.

We decided that we like the cage design of the CB-2000 (as opposed to the tube of the CB-3000) because my wife likes to be able to touch and play with her property. She also likes the appearance of my cock straining against the bars. Also, the cage design is much easier to keep clean without removing it. So we chose a model called the "Challenge" to start with. However, we decided to customize it some. First, we changed the angle of the cage from the B-ring to match the CB-3000 (the standard model is more horizontal). We picked a length half way in between the CB-2000 and CB-3000. She also measured my girth and we picked the inside diameter of the cage to match my completely flaccid state. Last, she wanted the option to install spikes in the end piece. We took the integral lock and powder coating. Frank worked with us to come up with the final design, which include a removable piece with blunted spikes. My wife explained that the small size is to prevent real erections and the spikes are for when she wants to punish me.

After several weeks the device arrived. It is an amazing piece of work - not so much perfect machining, but more the look of high quality hand made jewelry. It is absolutely smooth (the CB model both had problems with rough edges here or there). And it looked small! My wife wasted no time and installed it. It is much more comfortable for me and I told here so. I can lie on my stomach no problem. I can sit 100 percent naturally. By testicles hang naturally and hence no compression problems. I can do all of my sports without noticing it. The only caveat, it is a little heavier than the plastic models, and briefs are pretty much required rather than boxers.

Security is something I read about often and don't really understand. I cannot pull out of the CB models I think? But if I could I would never get it back in. And that is all that is required. I can obviously cut the plastic with cutters, and on the Gerecke I can cut the cage with bolt cutters. And with any of them including the full belts, I could cut my way out somehow. Which matters not to us, in that all that we care is that I cannot pull out without being detected. However, my wife was more interested in security on this device and offered me a "free orgasm" if I could pull out. Forget it. It is much more secure than the CB models as the cage sits much closer to the body and there really is no room at all to pull out. Perhaps that is also a function of my small inside diameter on the cage.

The best part, though, of the Gerecke is Frank, the owner. He worked with us throughout the design to make sure we got what we wanted. He put extra touches that we had discussed but I was not sure I wanted to pay for. He was fairly quick building it considering it is a custom piece, and he shipped it with tracking to make sure I got it. I am assured that any problems will be corrected although I do not anticipate any.

The Gerecke is expensive - as much as several CB models. And definitely worth it! I cannot say enough how comfortable it is and I recommend it for everyone that can afford it.

But, there could be unintended side effects!

The way things worked with the CB models is that one day a week, Friday, was my only chance for an orgasm. If I hint, ask, or beg for an orgasm earlier, then the next Friday is automatically a day without release and I must wait at least another week. . One rule I have always hated - if for any reason we could not spend the time for me to have an orgasm (like when we have guests or I travel on business or whatever) then it is simply skipped. She says it is not her fault that we cannot play on that day, so why should she make allowances?

She uses a point system. There are "good" points I earn by doing good things like cooking dinner, folding laundry, massage, and bringing her to orgasm. I must earn 100 good points to get an orgasm. There are also "bad" points charged to me for things like being rude, refusing an order, forgetting a chore, and so forth. If I am charged more than 25 bad points I get no orgasm. They are independent because she does not want me behaving badly and then trying to weasel out of it by being extra good. She does not want to have to tolerate bad behavior. Each week the bad points start fresh, but the good points carry over (with a maximum of 100 points) should I not get an orgasm. So if I miss an orgasm I must have a total of 200 points for the next one beginning with the previous weeks total (and a clean slate on the bad points). If I don't earn an orgasm, at her whim she may decide to unlock me and tease me unmercifully. Or she may tease me while locked up. And if I have really upset her, she ignores me. She does tell me how I did on the points and what things I did that were good and bad, so that I learn to be a better husband

This brings me to the unintended side effects -- she said there were going to be some changes in the rules. When we initially started with one week it was because it was new to her and she did not know the benefits and she was afraid the CB models were too uncomfortable to wear longer. She had been leaving it off over night after an orgasm to give me some relief.

But, now was time to make changes. First, the only opportunity for an orgasm from now on is the first Friday of each month! That means four and sometimes five weeks minimum between orgasms! She explained that she had to adjust the point schedule as well and that from now on I would have to earn 500 good points for an orgasm. I protested and said that was not fair insomuch as mostly there would be four weeks between Fridays and this required more points than before. She grinned and said that I raised a good point ... and for that reason she would NOT be adjusting the bad points. More than 25 bad points, and no orgasm. I started to protest ... and she immediately said that I was accumulating bad points with every word. I shut up. I then begged her to please remove the spikes as she had said that she only purchased for when she wanted to punish me for bad behavior. She grinned again, and said that was so. The behavior she wants to punish is unauthorized erections! The spikes are now to be a regular part of my chastity. She also told me that not all is bad news, she intends to tease me much more often, especially on the Fridays with no orgasm. All in all it is a great device with superb quality, the opportunity to customize, and a great person to work with. And, it can bring some unintended consequences.
