Review of ChastitySteel CS-100

ChastitySteel is a newish German entry to the mid-range chastity market. (http://www.chastity-steel.com/) Their CS-100 is the basic model for men, and is elegantly simple yet innovative in design. It combines the familiar type of scrotum- trapping style that is used by the CB-2000 and others with a waist belt that both adds to security and eliminates some of the discomfort, since the weight of the chastity is supported by the belt, and not by the genitals.

The device consists of only three pieces. The waist belt is flexible and fabricated of springy steel, so putting it on is done by merely spreading it open. It is fabricated of three pieces, two ends, and a perforated center section to which the ends are riveted. This makes it possible to, if you lose weight, drill out one or both of the existing rivets and take the belt in with new rivets. A silicone partial sleeve is provided for the belt itself, which slips over the edges and keeps the belt from digging in.

The next piece is the very substantial penis tube, which on the CS-100 is a closed steel tube with only a quarter-inch drain hole in the tip.

It is held in place by the genital ring and lock. Surprisingly, this is a one-size fits all arrangement, which seems to work very well.

Putting the belt on is fiddly and best done with three hands, although I have learned to put it on myself fairly quickly without effort.

Putting the belt around myself, I lie in my back on a firm surface, and loop the hole in one end of the belt over the nut that serves as the receiver for the lock mechanism. Keeping this in place while affixing the rest of it can be frustrating due to the springiness of the belt. If I were to be consulted on the next model I would add some kind of positive lock or clip mechanism to hold the belt closed while going on to the next stages.

Then, you insert your penis into the tube. I find this quite easy with the standard 38MM diameter tube. The flange at the top of the tube also goes over the nut on the belt. It is important to recall that the flange must lie flat with respect to the abdomen, which causes the penis tube to be pressed quite firmly into the abdomen, and the tube to point down and slightly back, a significant difference from CB-2000 type devices.

Then, the genital ring (actually stirrup-shaped) is slipped under the scrotum but over the penis tube, and the screw on the back of the lock plate engaged with the nut on the belt. The lock itself is fascinating. It uses a four-directional key, similar to, but larger than, those used on some Chinese leg irons, which is used to literally screw the lock closed. The lock cannot be locked without the key. Engaging the screw with the nut is fiddly work while holding everything else in place, but can be done although it usually takes me a couple of tries to get it right. You then tighten the lock down. The key can only be withdrawn in one position, so you may back off a quarter turn or so from maximum tightness. This makes no difference, as, once the belt is assembled, it is a firm single unit.

I have worn the belt only for number of multi-hour sessions so far (I am not into long- term chastity) but can say that it is very comfortable and allows freedom of motion. I have performed a fairly vigorous workout routine while wearing it with no problems. I have not attempted elimination while wearing it, but it would appear that the closed tube would drain with no difficulty, and the drain hole could be used for irrigation as well using a turkey baster or similar implement. Of course there are no backstraps at all, so bowel movements are not affected.

There is no lining for the steel penis tube, but I find it very smooth and well made, and it warms up to skin temperature very quickly. Although formidable in appearance, the penis tube gives you the appearance of being "well-hung" but does not create a ridiculous bulge in the trousers. I have worn it out in public under pants and attracted no attention, although under closefitting garments it would be noticeable. Loose gym shorts might pass if the waistband were hideable.

Security seems good. So far, I have been unable to get enough of a grip on myself to stage a "pullout" as can be done with some other types, but I can't guarantee that someone with a slim penis or long slender fingers couldn't do it.

The CS-100 retails for $504. 81 (conversion from Euros). I was lucky; I got mine for rather cheaper on eBay, $350.00 plus shipping which I felt was a good deal indeed. You may be able to find one for yourself - search for 'Chastity'

Shipping from Germany was reasonably fast and communications courteous. There are few options: the CS-300 has a penis tube in which the lower portion is clear plastic, and a new CS-500 where the penis tube is a metal cage. They also make female models, one with a metal shield and one with plastic. Both of these are more classical in form with the cable up the back.

The design is simple and robust and may lend itself to owner modification, such as lining the tube. The bottom of the genital lock would make a good anchor point for a back strap of some sort if desired.

All in all, I'm quite happy with mine, although, as I said, I'm not into long-term So your mileage may vary.
