Male Carrara Protector

Submitted by: Altairboy@aol.com

Carrara began building chastity belts back in 1997. His first was a radical change from the traditional Tollyboy style. Never satisfied, he has since developed several additonal models. The Carrara Protector was introduced in 2002 here

Over those same years, I have purchased several different models, and either outgrown them, or found them to be uncomfortable for wearing. Over the last year, I went on a strict diet, lost most of the excess weight, and when the opportunity presented itself, I purchased a used Protector for myself.

This belt is radically different than the Tollyboy/Jones/Neosteel/Access Denied style belt, in that the penis is easily (when flaccid) inserted into a tube, and the scrotum (ball sac) is completely enclosed by a ventilated shield. The waist band is hinged in multiple places, and locks into the front shield. The locking mechanism is hidden and protected as you might expect, but also the waistbelt has three positions it can be locked for better adjustment to the waist.

When I got the package, I had great difficulty in waiting for the moment I could put the belt on. The first thing I noticed is that this belt is HEAVY. There is no doubt that you have some heavy metal briefs when wearing this belt.

Engraved on the front of the belt is the Carrara logo pictured above.

The backside of the front protector is edged with a soft silicone gasket, which makes a nice snug fit against the groin. There is also the same high density white orthopedic foam cushioning the flat part of the front plate used on other Carrara models.

Putting the belt on was simple, no fighting the penis tube. Just insert, hold the belt in place, and bring up and around the hinged waist belt, and insert the ends into the locking mechanism. Close the lock, and everything is nice and secure. I tried the tightest setting, and decided after a few minutes that medium would be better. The tube is larger than the flaccid member, so when shaking the belt or simply climbing the stairs, I can feel movement down there.

Sitting on a hard chair has always been difficult in Carrara designs, because the tube extends down and hits the chair surface. This belt seems to be easier, and I found by sliding forward, that was much less of a problem. The rear "string" connection fits between the cheeks making it easy to sit on when slouched. Sitting on a soft chair presents no problems at all.

My first night sleeping in the belt was much easier than any other belt I have worn. The nocturnal erection attempts were restricted of course, but I was not woken up as in other belts from the discomfort. I was unsure about the first morning attempt at urination, because frankly I had not examined just how urine would drain from the belt.

However, soon the need to go overcame my worries, and I sat on the toilet. I was reminded again that a "G" string style belt is easier to sit in than those designs with ass chains since they don't rattle on the seat. I cautiously let the stream loose, and found it drained out easily, and far less mess than every other full belt design I have worn. (The Curve and CB3k are cleaner if the slit is aligned properly). Some toilet paper was needed to soak up the remaining drips.

The belt does have a small 1/8" diameter hole in the front, for the purposes of injecting a cleaning stream of water to rinse things off. I don't have anything in my posession that I can use, but will doubtless need to either find something or remove the belt for cleaning of the tube. I have found that all of the belt designs including the trapped balls type devices require cleaning, or the residual urine becomes very objectionable.

Most people, including myself suggest that you give your body time to adapt to a belt, since the metal of the belt is not going to yield before the flesh will. I had to take the belt off after 72 hours (three days). I ignored some pinching and minor aches where the waistbelt pressed the topside of my hips most tightly. I found sleeping on my back was preferable to my usual sleeping on my side. However, I discovered a pressure point on my upper buttock where the waist band was pressing the flesh. It created a very large and angry bruise.

After the bruise healed, I made some adjustments to the way the rear waistband was digging into my buttocks by bending the metal. This has made the belt much more comfortable, and there is no sign of bruising, even after four days of wearing.

While in the belt, it is completely effective. I was unable to touch, barely able to get my fingers behind the front shield, and unlike my earlier version of the goethals, I was not able to "fuck" the tube by pulling the belt up and down, thus I was unable to achieve orgasm. I was also unable to get any stimulation from a vibrator placed against the metalworks, the sheer mass of metal prevented any good vibrations!

I am very, very impressed with the design and it's effectiveness which for me is the "holy grail" of CB's. I have looked long and hard for something that is this effective.

I would also caution that if you lose the keys, there is no way to open the lock, the shackle is completely protected. I was unable to slide the belt down over my hips, so the only way out without the keys would be to cut the waist belt.
