CB2000, a review by a light user

I have been into the idea of enforced chastity for about 6 or 7 years or so I guess. The big catalyst for my interest was discovering Altairboy's chastity belt site, sometime in 1996. I was both surprised and pleased to find that the thoughts and feelings I had were not unique. On a side note, I think the internet has been a very positive experience for all sorts of people with interests regarded as ‘different’ by convention, even though they involved consensual acts between adults or other legitimate adult subject matter.

For a few years I surfed every chastity site on the web but bought nothing. Finally in late 1999 I bought a Tollyboy stainless steel belt. When I told my wife she was not pleased. I wore the belt a little but with my wife was repulsed by the idea of a person wearing a steel belt and it became a sort of dirty secret when I put it on. I had some problems with security, looking back it was too loose. I never really got used to wearing it and after owning it for 3 months my wife demanded that I get rid of it, something I reluctantly did.

About a year later I decided a CB2000 would meet with less disapproval and ordered one. It turned up only 3 or 4 days later, not bad considering we live in the UK and they are made in the USA. I told my wife about the CB2000 after I’d had it a few weeks. I’d already mentioned them to her before I bought mine and although she was not pleased she said she would tolerate me wearing it providing it didn’t involve her.

So started my long period of experimenting with the CB2000. For months at a time I’d not wear it but then I start a period of really try to get to grips with it. I would wear it over night and for a day or half a day at a time, maybe have a day out of it and then put it back on. This probably sounds weak compared with the 24/7 guys who have reported on these pages but I'm being honest!

I could not get the device totally secure because I found it possible to remove my flaccid penis from the cage portion without unlocking the whole device. Perhaps I am not well endowed but a soft penis is remarkably flexible and this problem has been reported by others. I did however persevere with getting a good fit in the hopes of subsequently finding a way to totally secure it. Someone on Altairboy’s site suggested cutting down an unused A ring to act as more rigid spacer and I did this using the smallest of the 5 rings. This works well for me.

I’ve always found sleeping with the CB2000 a challenge. It’s not that it is uncomfortable, actually when you get used to it you will find you can only feel it if you tug on it or roll over and it’s (small) weight reminds you that it is still on. I think it’s more a question of being in a slight state of arousal and so not sleeping well. I found the best position for me is flat my back, not a position I would normally sleep in.

If you sleep with it on you’ll wake early with an uncomfortable erection or at least with a burning desire for some sexual activity. The best antidote for this is to get up and do something else. Lying in bed thinking about it will have you foaming at the mouth pretty quickly!

I’ve never had a problem urinating with the CB2000 on but I never use the urinals, there’s about a 80% likely hood of getting damp. Always having to sit is inconvenient.

I have worn it on (very) quiet beaches when I’ve been sunbathing and swimming. It is certainly noticeable that there is something a little ‘odd’ down there but people find it hard to look if you make eye contact with them and people further away would not be able to see. With the right pair of (brief style) trunks it’s (almost) acceptable. If you put a pair of loose fitting swim shorts over the trunks it would be perfectly ok and it’s only that I don’t like to wear loose shorts to swim that stops me using this combination myself. I don’t think I’m an exhibitionist although this probably makes it sound like I am.

Last year I got a Prince Albert piecing, this was my first ever piercing. Although my wife was initially cautious she found that it has improved sex for her and so she likes it. Until recently I never tried to use the PA to provide extra security with the CB2000 but in the last few weeks I have started to experiment. With the plastic tags supplied for the CB2000 (actually I have some for the ‘curve’ device but they are the same design) it is possible to anchor the penis firmly in the cage using the PA loop.

Although the captive ball ring jewellery does not ‘lock’ I have set mine to be very hard to open and there is no way I could remove and re-install the ball into the loop with my penis in the cage even with the nose pointed pliers I have. I thought the tag might pull on my piercing or prove irritating but it’s been fine. For the first time ever I now have a totally secure anti-masturbation device!

I’d like to get into a 24/7 routine but have never felt comfortable wearing it to work. I’m an office worker and even small things like always having to use the stalls in the toilets can be embarrassing. The main source of my worry is the bulge in my jeans, it’s not that it’s so large but it is hard and looks strange to me. I’ve no evidence anyone has ever ‘spotted’ this but even so -

I’ve found wearing a tight pair of swimming trunks makes for a lower profile and so I wear a pair when I’m out in public, at work etc. Although this improves your confidence in your looks, you can get quite a bit of pressure on the CB2000 & testicles and so can get uncomfortable during a long day. It’s an unwelcome reminder that you are installed so to speak.

Some partners reading this would probably think this reminder is great but I have quite a demanding job and I really can’t afford the distraction when I’m in the office. In my spare time, then fair enough - I like a reminder that I’m wearing this device.

My wife did not (and does not) like to see the CB2000, either on or off me and so I have to be careful around her in the bath, shower etc. when I have it on. I actually got quite good at wearing it undetected by her, at least for a few hours, although she can often spot the slightly larger than usual bulge in my jeans when is it on.

We’ve got to the point now where if I were able to wear it continuously between the short periods of release, I think my wife would be prepared to control the timing of my release. I will still have to put the device on and take it off myself as she wants no involvement with the mechanics of the arrangement but with numbered tags she can be sure I am not be able to cheat. She would definitely take advantage of and enjoy the positive side effects, she already enjoys my extra attentiveness generated when I am wearing the device.
