The curve is a pincher!

I was very excited when I brought home the curve from our local bondage store (Mr. S Leathers and Fetters) in San Francisco. I always get erections when trying to put the curve on, so if you have the same problem, you might want to first try to slip the curve part on first (with plenty of lube), and when you have most of your penis in there, try to fit the ring behind your balls, throw in the spacer, and go from there. It kinda works for me.

On the first day, I tried using the largest spacer, with the largest ring. I was able to pull out without problems. I kept on going down in ring size until the pulling out problem went away -- though then I noticed that I kind of had a permanent erection and bloodflow issues due to the small ring size. The ring acts a bit like a cock ring in that when you are erect, it tends to keep you that way. That's not really something that I'm looking for in a chastity device. If I go up in ring size the problem only really goes away when I can pull out the penis when it's flaccid.

I know that everyone has a different sized flaccid penis (much more so then when the penis is erect). Mine can get tiny when I work out... my girlfriend calls it a bee-hive... perhaps this is what allows me to pull out.

At night, I find the curve to be more of a torture device than a chastity device. Certainly it keeps you from getting off, but when you are excited from one thing or the other, the balls feel like they are lit on fire. The pinching is terrible. I recall trying to do math problem in my head to clear my mind of anything remotely exciting, and that including all the pain from a previous arousal state should have been enough to make my penis get flaccid quickly.

In one case, in the morning, my ball sack actually got bruised (blueish-black) from how tight it was. But again -- during the day time the same configuration was not a problem. I recall that night it felt like my balls where constantly getting pinched in a door frame and a door. Again -- not something I'm looking for in a chastity device.

I didn't wear the curve for a while, and decided that perhaps it was time to go with something else... and decided perhaps one of Lori's tubes would be the way to go. Downside: I need to get a PA piercing (and a frenum piercing for the model I was interested in). So at the moment I'm healing from the piercing, but have not yet ordered the tube due to my experience while healing. I have a bit of a tight foreskin, and during the first week of healing of the PA, my foreskin was retracted. Well after about 1 week it swelled up to a very large size (looked like a donut). I thought it might be part of the healing process, but in actuality it was a condition known as paraphimosis. I was able to retract my foreskin by reading up on how to deal with the situation on-line (topical anesthetic cream, sugar solutions, ice packs, slowly pulling the skin forward back over the glans). Again: Not what I'm looking for in a chastity device! Anyhow, my PA is doing really well now, but I hear that for Lori's tube to work, I'll need to wear my foreskin back (so the bar can go through the lock, the tube, the glans, and out the otherside of the tube (and lock again). But I'm not inclined to wear it back, especially in a chastity tube that will not allow for immediate access in case of a reoccurance of the paraphimosis.

So either I'll need a circumcision or try something else. I'm a bit frustrated with how difflicult all this is becoming. I'd like to be able to give total control to my girlfriend in terms of my orgasms, and I'm even willing to get a few holes in my penis for it. But I don't want to live in pain at night, and I don't want to have a medical condition either.

Back to the curve. while I was healing I wore the curve again twice during the day, and once at night. After I wore it again at night, I again had tremendous pain in the balls. Again I hurt myself -- and this time I had a larger ring on too. So I'm about to sell the curve. Perhaps when the PA is all healed up, I could lock the PA-ring with another small lock (as others have indicated) and go with a large enough ring for it not to be a problem at night -- that at that point, perhaps I should look for an alternative design all together.
