Observations on the CB 2000 and my own current predicament

As wonderful as this little device is it does have its problems. I was plagued with a series of broken B-rings. I had three consecutive cages fail each with chunks broken out around the guide pins and usually through bubbles in the casting. It was very frustrating. However, Elizabeth, their contact person, was wonderful, replacing each one.

But I still had the problem of the ring cracking and breaking. I am now in the fifth day of trials on my solution. I still had my last broken cage so I decided to use it. I glued the broken chunk back in using 5 minute epoxy and then spread a coating of the epoxy from the first bar on the outside of each guide pin to within an eight of an inch of the hole for the locking pin. Using 12 pound monofilament fishing line I then wrapped the ring tightly and neatly. Once the wrapping was done I covered the line with another coat of epoxy. After the epoxy had hardened it was very easy with an exacto knife and a bit of very fine sandpaper to clean up and smooth any rough places. After this modification the cage has functioned perfectly.

After the first two days I decided to try a further experiment. I was getting tired of the lock dangling and sometimes gouging me. I decided to replace the locking pin with a nut and bolt. I used a standard machine screw with a slotted head that just fit the diameter of the holes for the locking pin and of the appropriate length to just barely protrude from the nut. I inserted the bolt in the same manner as the locking pin is used and then used a pair of pliers and a small screwdriver to tighten it to the point where mischievous fingers cannot remove the nut without tools.

I made a startling discovery. Once the assembly was tightly bolted together it was a great deal more comfortable to wear. I had suffered from chafing from the A ring under the scrotum and occasionally been pinched by the parts slight movement when using the locking pin but tightly bolting the assembly together had eliminated these problems. I also noticed that there was no longer any angular play in the assembly that had put stress on the B-ring in the past.

I like the idea of the rigidity of the assembly with it bolted together. I suppose one could get a longer bolt and drill a hole near the end to pass a lock through thereby enjoying both the solidness of the tightly bolted assembly and the security of a lock. I know there are nylon bolts and nuts available that would serve when one needed to go through a metal detector. It seems to me as though a minor change in design to use a bolt-together concept would make this a better device.

Which brings me to my current predicament and some thoughts on security. I have always been able to stimulate myself to orgasm wearing the CB 2000. There is just enough skin access and enough variety of interior surface to be able to produce an orgasm. It takes a bit but it is quite possible. One certain way of preventing this is to insert a foley catheter. The only problem with that is the distinct danger of bladder infection with long term wear. So this solution is only good for 3-4 days at the most. Another is to get a PA piercing, which is something I have planned for the future, and anchoring it to the end of the cage preventing sliding the cage back and forth. Unfortunately this still leave a great deal of access to sensitive genital areas.

I awoke this morning with an incredible erection and started stimulating myself by fondling my testicles and rubbing any part of myself that I could access. After a few minutes of this I realized that what I really wanted was to completely eliminate access to my testicles as well as all parts of my penis.

My solution sort of is under the heading of "don't try this at home" because I haven't yet figured out just how to extract myself when the time comes to get out. After inserting a catheter to guarantee that I had a hole to pee through - the cath will be removed later -- I proceeded to encase the whole of my genitals, CB2000 and all in plaster bandages. I am sitting here staring at a large lumpy white ball with a yellow tube protruding from it where my genitals used to be.
