The Curve - Personal ImpressionsSubmitted by: securedsubDear Altairboy: I am a 48 y/o sub w/m living in the sophisticated and cultured state of Arkansas ;~). Thank heaven my town is very near to Memphis, TN. i recently decided to pursue enforced chastity and your website was instrumental in deciding both my effort to go ahead with this idea and which belt to use. i decided on the Curve. It arrived yesterday, and the initial fitting and adjustment went very well. i am utilizing the biggest "A" ring and the thinnest spacer along with the short locking pin. The hinged "A" rings are a wonderful idea and make installing the Curve much easier. This device is very well engineered, and i love its appearance. It has been on for 24 hours now and i feel completely comfortable in it after making a few very minor modifications. The guide pins were cut to the correct length after the initial fitting. i marked them with a "Sharpie" permanent marker, removed the device, then used a hacksaw to trim the pins off. More of the 600 grit paper was used to polish the cut ends to a radius as well as polish and smooth the sides of the pins and the spacer also. i cut the pins so they are exactly flush with the part of the "A" ring that is closest to by body. It is also more comfortable to wear the "A" ring so the factory head of the hinge rivet is away from the body. My scrotum was irritated by the driven or "shop head" of the rivet when installed the other way. The "A" ring has a distinct "line" on the inner and outer diameters where the casting mold halves joined together. This line, commonly called a "flash" in other casting industries, is slight but sharp. i thought this would eventually become a source of discomfort so i used some 600 grit wet or dry sandpaper (the kind used in auto body shops, it is dark gray, almost black in color) to polish this flash line away from both sides. i also utilized the sandpaper to lightly polish the rivet that holds the "A" ring halves together. A touch more sanding on the Curve sheath at the entrance (lower half) removed a similar flash line there as well. The initial sensation of being locked up was quite unique. After wearing my curve all night and today i must say the sensation is very comfortable. The tube itself encases my penis very securely and this is a pleasant feeling as well. As has been said on your sire, actually touching the penis while wearing the Curve is out of the question. The sheath is very snug around the shaft and will not permit any manipulation. i believe "escaping" from this CB will be impossible. It simply fits too closely After urinating a few times while wearing the curve i must say that i took for granted the ability of an unlocked male to stand and urinate. Being forced to sit is going to take some acclimation i am sure. my KH says this will give me a small taste of what Women endure every day of Their Lives. It is going to be particularly bothersome when i am on duty as a police officer. It is not merely a matter of dropping your pants and sitting down. i must first remove the duty belt which carries my pistol, ammunition, pepper spray, radio, handcuffs, and other items and then the body armour vest must be dealt with. This whole process It is a major pain. To take all this off and put it on again is approximately a eight to ten minute process under the best of circumstances. This makes me appreciate what Female police officers must go through just to urinate. To facilitate the drying of my Curve after urinating or showering i have applied a product called "Rain-X" to the entire device. This product is sold in parts stores, Wal-Mart, and truck stops everywhere. It comes in a small yellow squeeze bottle, and sells for five or six dollars around here. A bottle will last forever when used on a vehicle, a little bit goes a long way. It is made to apply to vehicle windshields and windows for the purpose of making water bead up and blow off. Rain-X is amazing stuff. i have used it for years on my cars, and one can drive in the rain without using the wipers if so inclined. It is that good. i noticed after showering that the Curve was very dry, and there was very little hand toweling or blow drying to do. Rain-X is a thin liquid and smells like rubbing alcohol when applied. It dries quickly and a light wiping with a towel removes the haze left on the plastic after application. The bottle's instructions state clearly that Rain-X is safe to use on all plastics. It lasts quite some time on a car window. i do not have any idea how daily showering will affect its effectiveness. i will post some photographs as soon as possible. i took some with my cheapie digital camera but the computer says it can't find the camera when i try to download them. Sincerely - securedsub
