An attempt at a complete CB-2000 reviewSubmitted by: explorerI got my gray CB-2000 a few months ago from the Stockroom (www.stockroom.com). It arrived in a little more than a week (holiday shipping... I would have had it sooner in other circumstances, I'm sure). I opened up the package and... I'll admit to being disappointed at first. If you were look closely at the pictures of the CB-2000 you can see large, long bubbles in the rings and if you look even closer, you can see that where the bars between ring B&C and C&D are not formed into each other, rather they seemed glued on. I'm sure that's actually acrylic connecting the two... but at any rate it's a weak point and neither "defect" (if one can call it that, since its on all of them) is too great for its appearance. The only other beef I have with construction is the form of the A ring. I've read that its perfectly smooth, however it's not. I read somewhere on your site, Alterboy, (and your site is, I might add, absolutely fantastic) that someone was going to try smoothing this with nail polish, but I never heard if it worked. That's the bad, now here's the rest: When I got it, I had never worn even a cock ring before. So I started at the largest size, with the mid-size pin and a large spacer. It was sung all over when I finally got it on (a difficulty with my little friend), and I wore it for 15 minutes with no real problems before the warnings about not staying in it too long the first time came to mind. I wore it overnight the next night with no problems to speak of. I never got waken up with an erection. Lying on my stomach wasn't bad, only the uncut posts digging into me. Still, when the cage was like that (stuck between my legs) the ball-streching starts, and if I get an erection the pain just adds. If you, the inquisitive readers of Alterboy's site, haven't figured it out (I didn't until locking it on), here's the way it works... an erection tries to push the cage off the body, and when the cage gets pushed off, the ring behind the balls moves forward with it. The device stays on because there is not enough room for the balls to get out from between the ring and the cage. Your balls are trapped. Over the next few days and weeks I experimented with getting out and changing sizes. I was able to get out of the largest (2") and second largest (1 7/8ths") rings, and have settled on the middle (1 3/4rs") sized ring. It's hard to escape, especially since my friend is quick to fill up as soon as I conceive of the idea of trying. I have, however, been able to once or twice. I changed to the smallest pin, and the spacer allows for 7mm between the A ring (cock ring) and B ring (cage part). Feels fine, and I can go smaller if I want to (pain can get more severe). I was locked for 75 hours straight and had no problems. When I have an erection, the balls get stretched a bit. I get a burning sensation on my scrotum right by the bottom of the A ring if its a long or hard erection, like described in some of the other reviews. It's not too bad; I have never used oils or anything. I discovered, actually, that this is usually caused by pubic hairs being pulled. Get them out from under the ring (and anywhere else they may have been stuck into the cb [locking pin is good at grabbing a whole lot of hair when one puts it on]) and you're set. Fortunately, once out, hair does not work its way back in. Sitting down to pee is a Good Idea. I may get away with standing up once in a while, but I have to be perfectly positioned in the cage and may still have to clean up a big mess even if the positioning looks good. I always have to use paper to clean up around the tip of the cb after peeing. As for the bulge in the pants... not a problem at all. One can see a small bulge, but its a nice bulge (emphasizes what you don't have access to?). One thing that is noteworthy is that if one skips down stairs or hop, etc... the lock may bang around unless you're wearing tight underwear. Hard to explain the clacking if you're not carrying anything... But even in the very close living quarters of a college dorm, its discreet enough to have remained a secret. My last note is a bit on staying clean for those of us out there that are uncut. Sometimes it's important to pull back the foreskin inside the cage to fully expose the head and clean out (or dry out) under there. There's nothing better for a beginner who needs to be discreet.
