The CurveProduct Review Submitted by: BondageBoyI got my Curve today and so far I like it better than the CB-2000. Mine came configured with the smallest ring on it. I did manage to get the smallest ring on but the erection that quickly ensued caused me to immediately remove it. The split ring made that easy to do. I am now wearing the second to the smallest ring and the "factory standard" spacers. Even during a full erection, my testicles do not hurt like they did in the CB-2000. With the CB-2000, I had to wear the second to the largest ring for a one or two week break-in period then drop the middle ring. That was as small as I could go without pain in my testicles during erections. I couldn't get all my penis into the Curve's tube at first; I kept getting the start of an erection. I did manage to get most of it in and it has slid down the Curve on its own. Thinking about it, this would have been easier if I had put a ring through my PA piercing (without the ball) and used a string to pull my penis through, then remove the ring. In order to pee, you must sit down. The CB-2000 allowed me to be just above the seat in public restrooms and the stream cleared the cage (for the most part). The Curve is like peeing through a shower head. It comes out all over and the cage really needs to be below seat level in order not to make a mess. The Curve allows a near full erection. I prefer that to the scrunched erection of the CB-2000; that always caused the whole unit to push away from my body. The funny bulge is gone. The Curve is nice and smooth even in my tighter jeans. It now looks like me only bigger. I've had to push the tube forward in my briefs -- down between my legs. The top of the "A" ring is away from my body by about 1/2 inch. It feels kind of funny walking around as my inner thighs touch the tube when I walk. With boxers on (yes, I have been experimenting), it hangs naturally although the weight of it is interesting. And the walking thing again. So far, I have been unable to pull out although I have come close. I could easily pull out of the CB-2000 even with the smallest ring. I never understood what made that so easy as I could not pull out of just the "A" ring -- I had to have the cage on for me to pull out. Must have something to do with the added support the cage provided. The Curve's tube is working against me. If I do manage to pull out, I'll either downsize to the smallest ring or work out a locking scheme for my PA pierce like with the CB-2000. Speaking of pierces, my frenum bar is hanging up on the slots in the Curve (where the sharp edges are). That hurts a lot! I may need to switch to a ring to prevent that. Some tips: 1. Use Baby oil gel. Still need it for the burning and now for better sliding. Do yourself a favor and lube not only your penis but the inside of the Curve as well. They really should include a free sample with the Curve. Maybe a grease fitting? 2. Be careful, the split ring will pinch when it starts to close. 3. There are sharp edges in the tube openings. Not where your penis is but where your finger will go to guide your penis down the Curve (that's my story of why my finger is in there and I'm sticking to it >:) I know many KHs (mine included) will not want to smooth that edge as it slows down playing. 4. Get some cloth baby diapers to absorb the precum. Never had that with the CB-2000 but I do with The Curve. That may subside. 5. Check your keys. The first one I tried did not work and I had already locked myself in. The nylon pin would have been easy to cut. Why don't they make stainless pins for these for use with the metal lock? The nylon one could be used with the plastic lock. I was given a one week release from my CB-2000 as an early present from my KH and I've certainly made the best of the freedom I've had (to the point of testicle soreness). My KH just said it's time to go back into lockdown and has taken the keys away from me -- even though it has only been four days. It'll be the stroke of midnight New Year's before I'm out again (assuming I behave myself). Bondage Boy
