Cleaning Tip for Long Term Reinhold Users

Do you have a Reinhold belt? Locked up for long periods of time? Well here is a tip for cleaning the belt without removing it.

If you have a Reinhold belt, you know there is no padding, cracks, or openings to collect dirt, sweat or body oils - the belt is a one piece composite material which resembles fiberglass. However that is not say YOU don't get dirty.

The human body sweats and excretes liquids that need to be cleaned. And if your Reinhold fits as tight as mine, you can barely slide a wash cloth in between you and the belt to get that area clean. To help reduce any odor build up, first of all I shave all of my groin hair. Sweat and bacteria love to live together in a warm, moist place and the result of this cohabitation is odor.

To help solve that problem, I wear a T-shirt during the day. I sleep nude (except for my belt at night. When getting dressed in the morning, I pull the T-shirt down so that it situated between my skin and the belt. When I take the shirt off at night, it is always slightly damp as it has done its job absorbing the sweat.

But when it comes to Reinhold, that is not major cause of olfactory unpleasantness. Inside the penis tube, there two fluids - urine and semen. As part of my daily schedule, I pee about a dozen times (I drink a lot of coffee). But after a couple days in the belt, I also begin to leak, or secrete semen (I suppose to due prostate overflow and no release).

At first taking a daily shower with a portable shower head seemed to work quite well for the first couple of days. I take the shower head, change it from a spray to a concentrated stream and then squirt it up the single urine hole. This seems to solve the urine smell build up, but it does not seem to clean up the semen leakage in there.

I've tried several other things, but this morning, I found the answer. I used a plastic squirt bottle with a small locking point-up spout. The bottle I used was well rinsed out a "Lime Away" bottle. (This is a caustic solution used to remove hard water stains.) I filled it with water and added a little anti-bacterial soap. Standing in the shower, I placed the nozzle into the urine hold and squeezed the bottle. This squirted the liquid into the penis chamber. I released the bottle, but left the nozzle in the chamber. This provided natural suction to pull most the liquid back out. I performed this until my Lime-Away bottle was empty.

After a 10 days (non-stop) in the belt, I was getting quite 'ripe', but after this morning's cleanup routine, it was like I had taken the belt off and thoroughly cleaned and put it back on. Since I don't have any keys, I have no choice, but to try other methods and this worked wonderfully.
