Here are pics of my "fix". The CB 2000 comes with several different size rings - most of which are ultimately unused. One unused ring is cut in two places - each cut being about 3/8 of an inch from the alignment holes in the ring. The result is two hemispherical pieces of plastic ring, the smaller one sporting the two holes. After putting the main cage section on but before aligning and locking it, the new piece is slid onto the alignment pins so the downward arc presses gently but firmly against the top of the penis. Now the alignment and main pins are inserted into their final holes and the device is secured. The main pin hole in the modification piece is not used since the part arcs in the opposite direction from the main rings.
I have discovered only one downside to this modification. It presses against the top of the penis snugly enough that any extended attempt at erection (such as one produced by chemical penile injection) causes the penis to go numb after about twenty to thirty minutes. I didn't notice any of the discoloration that might mark such numbness if it were due to circulation difficulties so I am not entirely sure of its cause. It is something I intend to research.
One thing I do find interesting. Although this unit was created to allow travel through airport security and such, no one has attempted to create a duplicate in either stainless steel or (to overcome weight problems) titanium. I know that I would purchase such a unit in a heartbeat.
