I opened the KTB (Severe design) and was too excited to put it on. After "calming down" I was able to install it with great difficulty. As Robert stated, it’s very uncomfortable for the first hour. I periodically took it off, reinstalled it until the installation became easier. I did not wear it to bed that night.
December 5, 1997
I noticed that the glue or whatever had rubbed off on my penis and I waited until the weekend was over to reinstall it and my member thoroughly cleaned.
December 8, 1997
The device was reinstalled was great ease. It is truly like an iron maiden wrapped around the penis and quite comfortable making me feel most secure physically and emotionally. That night I was totally unable to wear it during sleep. The pain was INTENSE. I removed it noticing that my penis was quite swollen but no ill effects. That morning the penis was back to normal with minor lacerations but no bleeding.

The KTB is quite comfortable now to wear and the installation only takes a few minutes. However, it is cautioned that one not get the skin pinched in the lock while fastening the lock. Simply push the skin down and it snaps shut easily.

Again not possible to wear it during the night but I am bound and determined to do so.
December 11, 1997
HOORAY!! I DID IT. I had my first night of sleeping with the KTB. I was able to control the erections so as not to dig totally into the penis although the pain was still enormous. The most intense of the pain was during the final morning erection when there was no control until I got out of bed to "settle the matter." At this point I intend to wear it for a minimum of 14 days to break the record. So far, I have placed the keys in my car. Living upstairs and it being cold, I would hesitate to go retrieve them. However, after 7 days, I intend to give them to a friend who lives 1 hour from me.
December 12, 1997
This night was not so bad. I had 3 erections and was able to control them so were not full erections. That morning a friend of mine allowed me to check my penis for hygienic reasons and found that there was something black which at first appeared to be an infection. That was not the case as I feel it was something from the debris of the device itself. Most of it I could scrape off. We adjusted it so that the device was not over the open area and could heal. Once that is gone I will have to move the device back to where it was.
December 13, 1997
Tonight was not so agonizing. Erections were controlled; however, I must have had unconscious erotic thoughts during the day as I noticed erections arising unexpectedly. At work it was difficult but I was able to control it and not be obvious that I was in minor pain.
December 14, 1997
This night was agonizing. Because I have not been able to have an ejaculation since installing the KTB, I have had 3 erections within one hour of trying to get off to sleep. I was unable to control them and they became full. The staples bit heavily and each erection was at least 8 minutes in returning to a flaccid state. I think this night was undoubtedly the worst I have endured and it’s only midnight. This was the most excruciating night of all. I had close to ten erections, fully erect. Sleep was ok until that started, but I am taking it as a man and will be curious to tomorrow night's sleep.
December 15, 1997
I had come down with a sinus infection and was not feeling well. I slept well but with only two minor erections which were nothing more than an irritant. However, during the day I have noticed when the KTB begins to prick at me it is probably because of unconscious sexual thoughts, when I am completely flaccid I experience no pain, rather it feels like a gentle iron maiden wrapped around me and securing me. Given sexual excitement this device becomes vicious and relentless.
December 16, 1997
On the three erections during the night. Each one the pain was EXCRUCIATING. The burning sensation was intense afterwards; however, sleep put my mind off that. I was going to take an asprin but decided that I still had to endure and control the pain. To this day I still love my KTB and would not be without it.
