I received my SCC Birdcage last month. My wife promptly installed it, and placed the key on her gold chain, around her neck, dangling between the crevice of her cleavage... Oh, the thoughts.... It gets installed at her command, when I will be around and not travelling for a few days.
Well, what the others say is true, when installing the SCC, you must have a strong hand to compress, and hold the ring. I too, tried the hose clamp, and tape. The real McCoy is much more comfortable. You must be very careful not to pinch the top of the penis, (OUCH !@#$%).
The first few nights were real interesting with the SCC device.
The penis wants to expand due to the nocturnal REM. When it meets resistance, there is bio feed back, and you ultimately wake. I ended up getting pinched when the glans of the penis got caught between the tip of the two cris-crossing pieces of stainless steel. Others suggested pulling the skin back to prevent this.
For long term wear, it is OK, in that it stops masturbation. It is still possible to stroke your family member, but all you'll do is get terribly excited, then rejected when you realize you wont be able to orgasm. :-(
As a frequent traveller, I need to pass thru airport security on a regular basis. There is no way that the SCC will pass the metal detector test. I have a supply of ABS Sheet plastic that is both strong and once bent into shape is quite resilient. It can be solvent welded, as well as heat welded.
I believe this may be the perfect material of construction for this type of chastity device. If overheated, it becomes very brittle. If hit with a hammer, it will shatter, similar to Plexiglas that is over heated. (Yeah, right, I'm going to put Mr. Happy in a vice and hit it with a hammer to destroy the chastity device...., on second thought, that might be a strong incentive to remain chaste ;-) ).
My goal is to make a knock off of the SCC out of this plastic material at my wifes' command. The small brass locks have passed the metal detectors at ORD,MSP,SFO,SJC,DTW, and MKE. I simply put one of the small master locks in my pocket, and hoped like hell it wouldn't set off the detector.
Once completed, when I go on trips, she'll have the knowledge that I'll be saving her seed, for her desires....
