Preliminary Report on Goethals Improvement

Previously, I told you that I was upset with the Goethals belt because of the orgasm possibility and we had a brief exchange of e-mails about what to do. After our exchange, I tried two strategies with one turning out to be dominant.

A second inner-tube inside the main tube

To be brief, it did not work for me. It was very difficult to form a fitting, non-clanking tube. It took me a few hours, to come up with a plastic tube which was shorter than the outer steel tube. Inserting the penis took some time but finally was successfully. The diameter of the inner tube was 2.8 cm and therefore erection became impossible. So far so good! But the problem was my skin got pinched. PAIN! I was not able to wear this improvement to my belt for more than 4 hours. My impression is that it will work if you are a better craftsman and can build better tubes.

Using Liquid latex

Instead of making a mold of my penis I just poured some warm latex in the original tube. So I didn't run into troubles with my pubic hairs. With the liquid latex I moved the tube for several moments, so that the latex reached every corner of the tube including the drain holes. Afterwards I took a hairdryer to harden the latex. I repeated this procedure for several (maybe 20) times to get the correct inner diameter by building up with many thin layers. In addition I coated the original rubber top with every new layer too. (By the way, you can build a new layer even on an old one which is coated with silicone oil. So you can check out the thickness. If the tube is still too large, just add a new layer.) I let dry out the latex one night and reopened the drainage holes with a dremel tool. Finally I took silicone oil to grease the latex.

Conclusion after 75 hours of wearing the belt without a break.

Inserting the penis now takes longer time. I'm just able to insert my penis when it is in flaccid state or at least very close to that. I tried very hard to get an orgasm, but I failed :-). Even erections of remarkable size are impossible now. I was afraid of skin irritations, but they didn't occur. As I mentioned before, I didn't suffer chafing or swelling problems beforehand, except on the base of the penis, when wearing the belt too tight. Therefore I cannot comment on changes in this respect. All I can say, is that these problems are still absent and that the bigger ring at the tube entrance feels good.

But always remember, I never wore the belt for more than 107 hours continuously (personal record)! Henry reports that his belt causes those troubles after wearing it longer than this short (?) period of time.

Another aspect is the durability of this "construction". We know latex reacts badly on grease (except silicone oil). I use Nivea cream to grease my penis in order to insert it more easily. Maybe this will harm the latex in the long run. Up to now I could not recognize any damage. The surface of the latex is still very smooth and shiny.

At the moment I'm content with the belt again and think the time of messing around with liquid latex was worthwhile. With all the drying it took me a whole day to build the inner tube.

I will report on damages or problems later. Due to my wearing pattern (24/3) I'm not able to report on problems stemming from longer (24/7) usage of the belt.
