Review of Access Denied Male Chastity BeltSubmitted by: AnonymousFollowing are my first impressions of the "new and improved" Access Denied chastity belt: Back in late May, I received my Access Denied chastity belt. At that time, it was still being manufactured with the stainless steel front shield with the rubber molding on the edge. I wore the belt for about three weeks for periods of up to three days at a time, with breaks away from the belt ranging from an hour, to about a full day. Over those three weeks I became somewhat acclimated to the belt, with no skin irritations caused by the confinement, with the one exception of the tip of my penis head having a small abrasion. I received this minor injury as a result of my penis head protruding from the penis tube when I became semi-aroused while sleeping. My head in its semi-erect state would rub along lower post slot in the front shield, causing the abrasion. I was able to put a rubber spacer on the lower penis tube post between the penis tube and the front shield, so that when I became semi-aroused, my penis head would bulge from the tube, but make no contact with the shield, thus solving the problem. However, I did experience another problem, which did require some significant repair work. The rubber molding around the front shield became detached, causing the stainless steel edge of the shield to rub directly against the skin of my upper thigh. I tried to fix the problem using Goop as an adhesive, but the molding kept detaching itself. Finally, I called Paul at Access Denied, and we agreed that I could send back my belt to have the front shield replaced by one which is Plastisol covered ,like the covering on the penis tube (for a small fee of course). I received the belt back this last Monday, and now would like to share my experiences with the new and improved Access Denied chastity belt. As of this writing, I have been securely belted for the past 72 hours, with no breaks. The Plastisol covered shield is a remarkable improvement in terms of both hygiene and comfort. First, in terms of hygiene, I used to notice that my belted area used to begin to smell bad by the end of the day. Now I do not notice any foul odor at day's end. I attribute this to the Plastisol, but maybe I am just getting better at cleaning myself in the morning when I shower, or cleaning up after going to the bathroom. Also, I notice that my balls do not seem to stick to the front shield when they are sweaty, and this is a vast improvement. I feel cleaner and more comfortable. Second, in terms of comfort, my penis head still protrudes from its tube when aroused, but now instead of scraping along the stainless steel slot, it rubs against the Plastisol covered slot. It still is somewhat irritating, but nowhere as painful as the cut I sustained with the uncovered shield. When my key holder lets me out of the belt (yes, I have a key holder, and she has all of the keys), I will probably add the rubber spacer as before, but even without the spacer, my penis head is only mildly irritated. Another point of discomfort that I am experiencing now, as well as prior to the front shield being covered, is the rubbing of the front shield against my inner thighs, right under the point where my balls are pushed out to the sides by the penis tube. The current sensation is about the same as when I had the belt before the rubber molding came off, but now I am confident that this is as bad as it will ever be. (Before, when the rubber molding came off, the scraping was unbearable.) Fortunately, I have found a remedy to this problem. I have discovered that by wearing contoured underwear made of a cotton/ Lycra blend, the underwear covers the front shield at its edges, and creates a barrier between the shield and my inner thighs. By wearing this underwear over my chastity belt, I experience absolutely no irritation. After three days of this combination of belt and contoured underwear, I am confident that I can wear my belt 24/7 with a fair degree of comfort (there are times that I actually forget that I am wearing the belt.) By the way, if you are not familiar with this kind of underwear, it is the kind that allows the penis to remain in front of the groin, by way of adding a bulge or pouch in the front panel. I believe that the intention of the underwear designer was to create a bulge in a guy's pants. Traditional underwear will either press the penis tightly under or next the body (i.e., briefs) or let it hang freely (i.e., boxers). This countered underwear is available through Undergear www.undergear.com Overall, I find the Access Denied belt to be very secure, and complimentary to my body type. I can perceive of no way (short of cutting the belt off of me) to free myself. I used the "stocking trick" to put my penis into the tube without lubricant, and the fit is snug enough that my penis has not freed itself. Before, I used Vaseline to maneuver my cock into the sheath, only to discover like so many of my fellow comrades in steel, that my cock would work itself out of its tube. I am now three nights into the program with a dry penis, and I can triumphantly report that my penis is lodged tightly in the tube, with no indications of any retreat. At this time, I would like to add a comment about penis types. Many of my fellow discussion group members have discussed the importance of body types relative to a chastity belt's effectiveness. I believe that penis type also has much to do with its effectiveness. The circumference of my penis's glans is significantly wider than my shaft's. When I was measuring for my belt, I called Access Denied to ask where I should measure the circumference of my cock, at the shaft or at the head. (They indicated the shaft.) This was important to me because my head is a full 1 ½” wider in circumference than my shaft. Now this fact creates a couple of conditions. First, it takes me a long time to get my penis into the tube, even when lubricated and much longer when it is not lubricated (even utilizing the stocking trick). However, when my cock is in the tube - it is really in the tube. Second, this means that the tube is holding my penis in place mostly by wedging the sides of my cock head in its walls, and thus allowing an ample supply of blood to circulate in the shaft and without pinching off the nerves. (Note: even when I am semi-aroused, only the end of my cock head extends out of the tube - the sides of my head remain firmly lodged in the tube.) If a person has a cock that has a smaller difference in the cock head to shaft circumference ratio, the tube will most likely hold the penis tube in place by grabbing onto the shaft, and this might restrict blood supply and neural activity. For such people, a WG belt may work better. Concerning the fit of the belt portion, I indicated a constricted waist size just a 1 ½” tighter than my normal waist. This works out very well for me (although I might have made it another ½” tighter in retrospect, but the fit is fine as it is). Again, body type is important regarding this measurement. I have a relatively hard body (before the belt came, I regularly did 500 crunches, three times a week). I am not sure if I would call my abdominals rock hard, but at least I would call them somewhere between hard, and medium hard. Anyway, I am quite sure that I would not be able to wear the belt for extended periods if the belt were more than an inch tighter, and even the idea of the belt being that tight makes my bowels tighten. The point that I am trying to make is that if a body is hard, the difference between normal waist size, and constricted waist size will be significantly less than if the body is more "gravitationally challenged." The second factor that is relevant concerning the waste size is the hip measurement relative to the waist measurement. My waist size is normally about 31 ½”, but my hip measurement is something like 34"-35." Therefore, even with my belt being maybe ½” larger than optimal, there is no way I can wiggle out of this sucker. Furthermore, I cannot get my hand down to touch my penis stem, so I will not begrudge the ½” As it is, I keep my belt right above my hip bones, which also puts it right underneath my pants waist line. When I wear my pants, my dress belt sits right on top of my chastity belt, so that if I took my shirt off but left my pants on, you would not see my CB. In this regard, I could not be happier about my fit. A few closing comments about the Access Denied belt. My wife likes the look of the Plastisol covered front shield better than the traditional stainless steel/ rubber molding look. She says that it looks less militant. The one piece extruded rubber waist guard is great. It provides comfort, and seems to be durable. The new stainless steel “D” ring at the bottom of the front shield is another nice touch. With the old steel ring, rust discolored the toilet paper during clean up, and towels after showering. This problem seems to be gone now, but it only has been three days since I began to wear the belt again, so only time will tell if this is a permanent fix to the rust problem. In short, the new and improved Access Denied chastity belt is just that - new and improved. It provides me with a high degree of security, while remaining quite comfortable for long term wear. I highly recommend the belt.
