Neosteel Chastity Belt Review

Dear Altairboy,

About the first part of March this year, I ran across a new chastity belt maker in Germany called Neosteel. They had recently put a web site up and had some pictures of their product. They indicated that they were a new company and manufactured other stainless steel items such as collars and cuffs as well as male and female chastity belts.

While looking over the information on the male cb, which is of the Jones/Tolly/AD design, I noticed what looked like a new design for the penis tube. Their information indicated that it was not possible to touch the tip of the penis with this tube, and that withdrawal was not possible. It was hard to see from the one photo just how that might be accomplished, since being able to touch the tip is a design short coming on existing designs. Also, in order to prevent withdrawal, the existing belts require an extremely close fit of the front shield, and a coated penis tube. The other item of note about their belt is that it is all stainless, including the d-rings and stainless chain is available for a small extra charge. All of their belts are completely mirror polished and they do not offer the "satin" or plain stainless finish.

They also offered a measure kit to assist those who did not have any one to help them in taking accurate measurements. This could be for those like myself who don't presently have an SO, someone wanting to surprise an SO, or merely to get the most accurate measurement possible.

They advertised a six week delivery from the time they received the paid order. I thought this was pretty good if they could deliver, since only one other manufacturer claims a similar time frame. The delivery time on the measure kit was stated as one week.

I contacted them by e-mail to inquire about the changes in the tube design and ask about payment options for the measure kit. They do not accept credit cards at this time so international money order or wire transfer are the only options. The gentleman who answered my e-mail seemed knowledgeable about cb's and fitting them when he wrote back via fax. They will only accept orders by fax with wire transferred funds or by letter with a money order, to prevent underage persons from ordering their products.

I live in the Western USA and my bank did not have international money orders available here, and the fee for a wire transfer was horrendous, nearly forty dollars. I had to e-mail Neosteel again to see about other options. They agreed to take a money order in US dollars if I would pay the conversion fee they would be liable for at their bank. I agreed and they sent me a notice with what shipping and conversion costs would be, I got a money order for the equivalent in US dollars and sent off the measure kit order. They passed the first test within reason, it took eight days instead of seven for the kit to get here. I can live with that.

The measure kit proved invaluable, I'd tried to take measurements by myself before it got here and thought I had them down. When the kit came and I used it, I got different measurements. This was primarily because I was using the wrong waist location. The directions in the kit gave a good method for determining that point. Since the ability of the belt to prevent escape is dependent on not being able to get it over your hips, and men don't have the hip definition that women do, this measurement is critical. It turned out that I had to move the measurement one inch higher on my body, and go one inch tighter to get the proper fit. This location can be hard to determine if you've never had one of these type belts, which I hadn't. In fact, this was to be my first steel chastity device, and considering the cost, having it fit properly was very important to me. I couldn't very well go to Germany for a fitting, and sending it back and forth would be time consuming and get expensive.

I had a number of other e-mail exchanges with Neosteel about using the kit, shipping charges for a belt, customs duties and inspections, exchange rates of marks to dollars, penis measurements, can I send inch measurements or do I have to get a metric tape and so forth. The e-mails and all my questions were answered quickly and in a friendly manner. This was important because I had not been able to find anyone who had one of these belts or knew anything about Neosteel, including your web site. It was reassuring to have them respond in such a professional manner.

I really thought hard about sending in the order to a new company and one that was overseas as well. Finally after about two weeks I got the money order, signed the belt order form with the measurements filled in and dropped it off at the Post Office. It costs a dollar for airmail to Germany from the USA if anyone wants to know.

They got my order on April 11, which was a Saturday, I got an e-mail on Monday saying they had the order and would get to work on it. I had a couple of e-mail exchanges with them over the next couple of weeks, I was concerned about the link size of the stainless chain versus the chrome chain. I had ordered the stainless, but the links were somewhat larger. I was worried about pinching with the bigger links. They said they offered the stainless chain for better security and that's why the bigger links, but that it was still quite comfortable. I was still worried about it so I asked them to change the order to the chrome chain. They questioned that saying maybe I should try it and if I didn't like it they would change it, or they would put on the chrome chain. I told them I wanted chrome, no problem they replied and there was not a delay involved with the change.

They sent me an e-mail on Saturday May 16, saying the belt would go out Monday May 18, and I should get it no later than the next week. I had paid for what the German Post Office calls Premium Mail 3-4 day delivery. It was actually quite reasonable for shipment to the USA, about $50.00 US. I didn't really think it would come that quickly. I mean it even had to make a Customs stop. I got home from work on Friday May 22, and there was a package from Germany on my front porch. That was exactly six weeks to the day from their receipt of my order, and no Customs duty was due. It was marked as a "Fashion accessory belt".

I couldn't wait to get it open, when I did I found some of the best workmanship in stainless steel that I have seen. It was completely mirror polished without a scratch anywhere on it. The holes, slots, and ends of the pieces were cut very clean. There is no indication of how the posts are attached to their respective parts. Not even any slips on the rivet heads holding the d-ring brackets. The penis tube was all black except for the pins, covered in what Neosteel described to me as a "Nylon type material that is applied under high heat, is impervious to oils, greases, solvents, and cleaners, and is hypo-allergenic." They didn't tell me what they call it, but it sounds like what we call "Plastisol". The ends of the rear shield and the top of the front shield have a hard rubber wrap glued and shrunk around them to protect the ends of the edging and it adds some eye appeal if you ask me. The edging is a textured hard rubber material that is stuck on with something, I don't know what because you can't see excess glue anywhere. All in all, I was very impressed.

The directions that came with it talked about making some minor adjustments to the shape of the waist band and the front shield for myself. The penis tube comes installed in a location that they have determined from the measurements you give them. It can be moved up or down to fit, when the proper location is determined, the bottom of the front shield is bent to match the angle cut on the end of the penis tube. This prevents you from touching the tip while the belt is on, I promise you it works, I was completely frustrated by any attempts to do so. The top of the tube has a half round section that covers both sides and the top, of the penis base. It actually rests on the pubic bone with some pressure when the front shield is in place. It is possible to touch the base of the penis with your finger tip if you're willing to go through some gyrations, but I can't see how you could pull yourself out. Between the tube coating and the fact that only one finger tip can touch anything, I think trying would be a lost cause.

It took three or four hours and the belt on and off about seven or eight times to get the stuff formed to where it felt quite comfortable. At least I thought it was comfortable for steel underwear, since I'd never tried any other. I quit adjusting when I couldn't feel anymore pressure points. It worked quite well. I got a little crazy and tried to go for a three day initial trial. I know, dumb wasn't it? I had to call it quits at the fifty hour mark because I was concerned about some soreness. It turned out well though, I was a little sore around the pubic bone area from the top of of tube, and had some minor edema which disappeared by the next morning.

I wrote Neosteel asking if something was wrong with the fit, they were surprised I had gone that long on the first go around and said I should give myself a little more time to get used to the belt. They suggested some things I could do and to go a little more slowly. We talked about some other things that could be changed if need be, like what if the tube needed to be modified, and they said they would do that for free if it became necessary. I made the couple of changes they suggested and the fit is even better than before. I've worn it the better part of today and just took it off for an inspection, no problems.

To sum things up, I'm impressed with Neosteel. They have a great product, the workmanship is excellent, the customer support is great both before and after the sale, and they are very knowledgeable. I'd have no trouble recommending them to anyone wanting a very nice cb.

I've included some pictures of the belt, tube and myself wearing it. Feel free to use them if you like.

Regards,

Gary
