Well, I have not been able to get a hold of Walter, as I keep getting his fax machine. I had sent you the last e-mail before I read your warning... YIKES. I'm very sorry to hear this, although, I'm not sure Walter is to blame in this. Everyone is built differently, and must decide for themselves what a good and healthy fit is. This is why my wife and I started so slow and loose, even though I knew I could slide out in the beginning. I would guess this unfortunate incident could have happened with any belt, if not fitted properly.
I may not need to get a hold of Walter now. Since the weld had broken, I decided to see how things could be adjusted better. I found that if the waist band would sit a little higher, it could be gently loose, while tight enough that it still would not fit over my hip bones. I then measured the distance between the top of the tube and the bottom of the locking plate. This was done, making sure that the anus opening was aligned correctly, and that the tube was centered over the penis.
I had done this in order to give new measurements to Walter, but later that day, a idea came to me. The tube needed to be about two inches away from the bottom of the locking plate. Since I used the top screw holes to fasten the waist band, the bottom pair where available. So, I made up a test plate using thick galvanized steel flashing. the bottom of the new plate wraps around the top of the connect rod on the tube that used to be welded to the locking plate. I bent the flashing around this rod with a vise, then secured it with steel rivets. This gives a hinge point to an area that I feel should be able to bend anyway. Then the flashing was cut to angle out to the full width of the locking plate, with a notch in the top where the plate needs to clear the locking nut. Then hole were drilled in the flashing to allow two M6 screws to fasten this to the locking plate.
I tried this on for size at lunch-time, showing it to my wife. She asked if the fit was secure and comfortable, and after I said yes, she reached out and closed the lock. Seems she feels that I have been free entirely too much this week.
The galvanized plate was not meant to be permanent, as I planned to have a stainless steel "bracket" manufactured locally to these dimensions. This can be done without raising any eyebrows. I may have to wait a while before I switch these plates out however, as the fit is now perfect. No pinching or undue pressure anywhere. I don't have to wiggle things around anymore to make sure I can urinate properly. She may keep me locked in this without any breaks until my next business trip....
