Sizing Information

A slightly large A ring will allow the subject to escape when completely relaxed, so it is important to order the correct size. There is a big difference between semi-relaxed and completely relaxed, so be careful with your measurements. Consider this: 5-3/8 inches works well for one customer who actually measures 8 inches circumference (when semi-relaxed) at A. Your mileage may vary.

The circumference at B and the length at C should be based on "semi-relaxed", while the circumference at A should be "completely relaxed" as stated. Also note that we mean circumference, and not diameter. Select from our standard Small, Medium, or Large dimensions given or send your own measurements and we will build one custom. Standard sizes are exchangeable for an extra charge to cover shipping and handling. For custom sizes, only the Ring "A" is exchangeable.

Ordering: The gentleman that makes the BirdCage contacted me a few hours after I first put it on the website. He "retired" from making them about four years ago, but has agreed to resume production. He is not willing to reveal who he is, but will accept orders placed through me. A copy of this order form with your return e-mail address and shipping address is required.

The price is $225 plus shipping. If you are seriously interested in owning one of these devices, contact me and I will quote your shipping charges. Extra 'A' rings are available at $20 each. All Shipments will be sent by 3 day Federal Express ($20.00 all US locations, more overseas). No C.O.D. orders will be accepted. Personal check, money order or Bank draft payable in US funds only. Shipment will be made approximately 4-6 weeks from receipt of your payment.

Exchanges: If you find that the large ring (the one with the lock on it) is the wrong size, return the complete Bird Cage with the $20 exchange fee to cover shipping and handling, and we will exchange the ring. We can exchange entire Bird Cages on standard (S,M,L) sizes only.

Guarantee: We guarantee Bird Cages against breakage in normal use for the life of the purchaser. We have yet to see one break. This does not cover the actual lock itself, which is easily replaced. If the lock fails within the first year, we will replace it.

Cleaning: Bird Cages are dishwasher safe (remove lock first). You can also use any product for cleaning/polishing stainless steel. The lock mechanism should be oiled periodically with lock oil.
