Long Distance Key Holding

Here is an idea that may work for some of you.

I have been lucky enough to have found a Key Holder, unfortunately, she lives on the East coast, and I live on the West coast.

We were able to come up with this idea and it seems to be working. Well .. we just started it, and I can tell ya .. there sure is a difference when the keys are really locked away and unreachable. I will surely be singing a different tune after being in lockdown for a few days or .. weeks.

This is how it works

She sent me a few luggage combo locks which can be reset. She also made a few marks on each lock, so she could determine which lock and combo work together. (Unfortunately, the locks wont click shut without the correct numbers showing. So, we decided to tape paper around the locks and numbers so that I am unable to see the correct combo).

I then take all keys in my possession for all locks used, feed a lock hasp through the holes on top of key, (so that the keys are not just bouncing around freely), and put them inside of a plastic box found at your local WalMart/Target for $3. (Easy to see keys and locks are truly locked, and easy to get into in case of an emergency as well).

I drilled a hole in the handle of this box, and when instructed I will:

• put myself in "Lockdown"
• put all keys and extra locks into the box
• put the lock through the handle
• close my eyes
• peel off the paper
• take a deep breath spin the dials

She will email me or phone me with the correct combo ... When she sees fit.

I am in Day 1 of my first lockdown as shown in the picture, and feeling extra horny for some strange reason...
