Delayed Release using multiple lockboxesSubmitted by: Lock_meupI am writing after just reading the message from chrystie99 about the idea for using 12 lockboxes to secure keys to delay release from a self imposed chastity device. While re-reading this, I came up with a modification of this that might work better for most of us. Most of us would not have the option of mounting lockboxes to the wall either in our home (especially in an apartment) or at work. What I came up with, was if you have some type of structure that a keyed padlock could be attached to, this system would work. I have in my area of responsibility at work, a steel shelving supporting network servers. Chrystie99's procedure could work with the purchase of a dozen keyed padlocks. What you would do, is find a place at each location where you can fasten the shackle of the padlocks. This could be the leg of a table, or a desk chair, as well as pipes in the utility closets or shelving in the storage room. The key of each padlock could be strung onto the shackle of a padlock at the other location. Thus, no mounting of hardware is necessary that might bring questions or disapproval from management or landlord. So, each day you would unlock the appropriate lock at work to get the key to the next padlock in line at home and vice versa. With this system, the padlocks could be placed in various locations around the office and the home. To put an extra twist to the game, you could mark the keys and locks with a "1" for the 6 at home, and a "0" for the 6 at work. Then just place the "0"s willy-nilly around the entire office in hidden locations and the "1"s all around inside and outside of the home. By not numbering the locks in a sequence, you might have to check each lock at the office or home in order to find the proper one. At the office, the locks could be placed in difficult to access spots like conference rooms or your boss's office, which would require you to sneak around and plan times when you can get access to the particular lock. An unexpected high-level meeting or the boss working late could add an element of randomness that can prolong the game or at least make it more interesting. I can see that having to check 6 locks in the office when they are difficult to get to without being observed could keep one occupied throughout the day, and might even require putting in a little overtime. :-) I think Chrystie's idea is a great one that can be expanded upon to make life more interesting. Let's see, you could place the locks all around town, or even in outlying suburbs requiring the subject to have to travel a bit to get the key. Failure to number the keys and locks would really make that interesting... Lock_meup
