Sorry it's been so long since you have heard from us. As I indicated last fall, my wife and I were awaiting the arrival of our next child. She really did not feel much like playing during this time, and as I travel via air from time to time, the belt would have to come off and it did not go back on in a hurry. (She has not made me travel with it on , yet...)
Then last fall, I put the belt on a little too loose, and after a couple days of frustration, was able to slip it off (with a LOT of work). The end result was that I had a locked belt that I did not have the key for. Since my wife was not showing much interest at the time, I did not really want to explain how the belt was locked, sitting on the shelf.... This ended play for a couple of months.
Well, we now have a healthy nine week old boy (15 lbs already), and my wife seems a little more willing to play again. I had been checking adjustments on the belt and wearing it a little (from a few hours to full days) every day since the New Year. As usual, my wife has full control of the key, but has not been giving me any grief when I wanted out to make an adjustment.
That changed a few weeks ago when I asked to be let out after a couple of days in the belt. She just checked the fit of the belt, asked if I was in any pain, and walked away. I had not really planned to be in the belt for a long time, and was frustrated as heck. She left me in 24/7 until last week, when she decided I could use some relief. She gave me a couple of days off, but I am now locked back in. We have gone back to the play style for now ( I am not restrained otherwise when the belt comes off for cleaning and inspection or relief), but she has made it clear that when the belt goes on, she will not left me know for how long.
We have discussed a full, no play 24/7 scenario, with only release time to be under her supervision. But, as you know, there are practical issues to deal with on true 24/7 control. The biggest concern is that we have never adjusted the belt to eliminate edema just behind the glans on the foreskin of my penis. This has never been painful, and always gone away after a few hours out of the belt. Since there has not been any discoloration, or pain, we continue with caution. And since we have never heard from anyone as to whether this is a medical risk or not, we feel safe in continuing cautiously.
Also there is the problem of accidentally eating something that gives me gas. Sounds silly, but this is probably the number one reason for needing release from the belt. The waist band has to be quite high on me to be secure, and stomach and intestinal gas can be excruiciating. Especially after a few hours of this. If this happens while I'm at work, or worse, when she is out of town, I can go through days with the belt becoming uncomfortably too tight around my waist.
I would like someday to send the belt back to Walter to have the rear band replaced with his new g-string bar system, and see if he can look at my modifications clean them up to give a more finished look. But I am a little concerned about having to send this thing back and forth in the mail internationally for mods. I am hoping that eventually a kink-aware welder in the US joins your site and might be willing to do modifications as a business.
Well, thats about it from this end. I'll keep you posted on any interesting developments.
