A Comparison: Jones vs Goethals

Submitted by: Henry

I will attempt to spell out the advantages and disadvantages of the two belts. I have been wearing the belts alternately since the Belgian belt arrived in February. These are only my personal observations and might not agree with another persons observations.

Belt: Both very secure. J-belt is less comfortable around the waist and restricts one more then the B-belt. The J-belt is more visible when wearing swim shorts.

Shield: J-belt is flexible and wears better the B-belt, which is rigid from the top of the front shield to between the legs, which creates a lot of pressure on the pubic bone.

Penis-tube: B-belt gives more room and does not allow to touch the penis at all. Erections are less painful in this belt. I have achieved orgasms in this belt as it gives room for friction and allows more room for erections. The tube used on the B-belt makes sitting on a hard chair somewhat uncomfortable as it pushes up and can cut off the circulation to the penis. J-belt permits you to touch the penis, but if properly fitted erections will not be advisable, therefore I was never able to achieve an orgasm. Some individuals have been able to pull the penis out, but would probably have great difficulty to put it back in without removing the belt. The penis can get pinched between the shield and the tube. Back-attachments: Both very secure and no major problems. When sitting on a hard chair chains on J-belt will dig in. When walking the shield over the anus on the B-belt will chafe.

Padding/lining: The orthopedic foam used on the B-belt is superior to the materials used on the J-belt.

Chafing: Both will chafe at some places. B-belt mostly between legs and up the rear. J-belt mostly between legs and on the waist.

Putting the belt on: J-belt requires some "coaxing" to get the penis into the tube but the locking system is very easy and quick to handle. B-belt is somewhat difficult in getting the screws placed in to the holes of the shield.

Security: Both belts are most definitely built not permit any sex between two persons, and will require special tools to remove. Depending on the individual some self gratification might be possible in both belts.

Adjustability: The B-belt with its adjustments on the waist and in the back is more versatile and less prone to measuring errors. J-belt: accurate measurements are a must. Wearing comfort: For long term wear I prefer the J-belt over the B-belt with the exception of the waist belt and the padding.

Durability: The B-belt with its many movable parts could break more easily then the J-belt.

These observations should indicate, that both belts fulfill their primary mission very well, but both have some pros and cons. As I am a very regular wearer of the belts I am glad that I have both belts, as this gives me an opportunity to alternate the wearing of the belts and gives my body an opportunity to recover at the places where one has some problem with one or the other belt.
