Yes, I am wearing my belt now.. and it has been an experience!
The belt, as advertised.. came made of brass, all nickle plated, and polished to a mirror finish.... the inside of the belt is entirely lined in velvet. The linings come in a number of colours.. I chose black for mine.
The level of workmanship, is absoultely first rate.. everything is beautifully made, and finished....
As the Hyams' state on their page.. this belt is designed primarily as an heirloom.. and not for serious long term wear. I do not wear it next to my skin as I feel it would adversly affect the lining. I wear it, usually over a one piece swimsuit. My girlfriend (we are two girls, living together) locks me up, and ejoys the view of me, in my belt, swimsuit, and usually a little "crop top"... which allows her a full view of the belt.
The belt is absolutly rigid.. and forces me to sit in a very upright position, much as a victorian corset... standing and walking are actually quite comfortable once one gets used to the weight of the belt.
Sleeping in the belt took some getting used to. It was difficult the first few nights.. but I have adapted quite well... I sleep in the belt, almost always now.
I am unlocked to use the washroom... using the washroom in the belt, would be in my opinion, messy at best.. and impossible at worst, to say nothing of the damage the velvet lining would sustain.
Masturbation is virtually impossible (I have tried) :) It is truly frustrating.. the belt keeps me in a constant state of arousal, by virtue of its constant contact.. rubbing etc. but I cannot stimulate myself to the point of orgasm.. I can touch my clitoris with a fingertip only with the greatest of difficulty.. and cannot stimulate it enough to come.. my g- spot is completely inaccessible.. Any form of penetration, by male organ, or dildo.. would be quite impossible.
It would be next to impossible to hide the belt under modern (20th century) clothing.. with the exception of a very loose fitting dress or skirt.. I wear the belt exclusively at home.. most nights after work.. to sleep in.. and almost always during weekends.. I am released of course, when my girlfriend desires sex.
Soon after I began wearing the belt, my girlfriend replaced the supplied padlocks wiith a pair of substantially larger ones.. for which she has the only keys... there are a pair of rings at the back of the waistband which are often used to tether me, at the end of a chain, to any available fixed object... (usually the bed itself) !
All in all, this belt has fulfilled all my (and my girlfriend's) expectations... it is not for 24 hour 7 day a week use.. but used in a manner similar to that described above has been very rewarding for both of us...
Being based on a very old design, the belt has a charactor to it as well, which you dont see it the ultra efficient modern belts... its lovely little fluer de lys.. and curves.. make it truly feminine.. something the other belts lack...
