Why I want to be Belted

I my case, frequent masturbation definitely did reduce my desire to make love with my wife. The more I masturbated, the longer it took to get aroused, and the resulting erection wasn't very "stable." Basically, unless we happened to both get horny at the same time, it just wasn't emotionally or physically satisfying to go through the motions.

When we did sync up, it was great. The same fantastic sex that we enjoyed 20 years ago when we first met. But instead of daily, it had become monthly, or even semi-annually.

I'd still get aroused, but not enough to want to do much about it except a quick pull and fall asleep. She'd get aroused, but not often and a quick diddle would cover it.

We both knew what the situation was, and didn't really consider it a problem. We figured it's One Of Those Things That Happens to old married couples. It's in all the books, after all... ;)

Anyway, like most of your readers, I had always had fantasies about chastity belts. In my case it was part of my larger BDSM/FemDom fantasies. My wife has always shared those ("do you like, well, you know...props?"), so we haven't had the problem some of you have had in getting your SO involved.

I had seen the Tollyboy belts back in the early 80's (at Skin Two, in London), and was fascinated. At the time, though, the cost was prohibitive, and I kinda put the idea out of my mind. Then, years later, I found Altairboy's site. Reading through the product reviews, I realized that I could afford a "professional" belt.

I went through the same process most of us have gone through: Which belt? How secure? How much $$? How long a wait? All the pre-purchase jitters and questions.

One day late in 1997, my wife and I were talking about our vanishing sex life. I told her that I though the fact I was masturbating about 6 times a week was tending to keep my libido low. I then proposed a chastity belt as a possible solution. We both figured that cutting back on my masturbation should increase my libido, and we'd see what result that had in our lovemaking.

It's worked beautifully, but not without some pitfalls along the way. We first got a Mr. S. Chastity Jock. It was available, comparitively inexpensive ($279) and seemed to be secure enough. The drawback is that it's unsuitable for long-term use. Without resorting to "plumbing" (a "Texas Catheter"), the leather belt has to come off whenever you need to pee. With plumbing installed, it still needs to come off once a day, to change catheters and for bathing.

We were looking for a device that would prevent access to my penis for a minimum of 4-5 days, without any fuss or bother. Clearly, a steel belt was needed. We looked at birdcages and KTBs and cuffs and so forth, but we both felt that a full belt would be better. Relying on a cockring-based device for attachment seemed too insubstantial, and the KTB seemed intended for a different purpose (chastity through changing the physical response rather than preventing access).

It came down to the big two: the Jones/Tollyboy/AD/NeoSteel design or the Goethals. I prefered the Goethals design, but at the time the delivery was in the 3-7 month range. Access Denied offered a 6-week turnaround time on orders, and that clinched it. Six weeks later, we had an AD belt.

Unfortunately, I was just starting a major change in my body shape. In the last 6 months, I've lost 46 pounds. We has already mis-measured for the AD belt, and it was loose on my waist when we got it. At the time we ordered it, I had a 44" waist. The belt arrived with a 40.5" waistband, but by then I was down to a 40" waist myself.

Plus the front shield turned out to be too long. And the ass chains were too long. And the penis tube was too short. And I got pinched a lot. And I reacted to the neoprene. And I got chafed on the inside of my thighs. And I got major edemas that left me unable to get an erection for 2-3 days after taking it off. And, and, and, and.

It wasn't working out. A wonderful product, unfortunatly unsuited to my own particular needs. We continually tweaked the belt, but were unable to get it to where I could wear it for more than a day or three, or where it wouldn't need a few days of recovery time after use. Definitely didn't meet my wife's requirement: "It stays in there until I want to use it, and then it had better be ready right away!"

Then a used Goethals popped up on Altaiboy's site. To make that story short, it fits fine. It might be a hair loose in the waistband (I'm down to a 44" waist), but still rides above the hip bones properly and I absolutely can't get at my penis.

Now that we've got all the adjustments figured out and set properly, it seems that it can be worn indefinitely. The most recent pattern has been:

 3/26 - Belt on
 4/1  - Belt off for a few hours for softball, then back on immediately
 4/3  - Belt off for my wife's pleasure - 2-day mini-orgy
 4/5  - Belt on, wife off to Paris for a vacation
 4/8  - My wife called from Paris to tell me where the key was 
        hidden, belt off for a few hours for softball, then back on 
        immediately.  Honor system for 2 days.
 4/10 - Belt off for a few hours for softball, then back on immediately. 
        Key sealed in envelope, mailed back to the house where it will 
        remain sealed until my wife gets back from Europe.

She's due back Wednesday night. She's already said that she's probably going to be jet-lagged, and that I'll probably stay belted until Thursday night, for my softball game. After that...

So, no record for raw chastity endurance, what with the mini-orgy before she left. But the belt has been in more or less continuous use for over two weeks, with zero negative effects aside from bouts of extreme horniness.

Since we finished tweaking the WG belt, and we started using it regularly, I haven't masturbated at all. My wife and I have made love more often in the past 4 months than in the past 5 years combined. She's also been dieting and working out, and is getting downright aggressive about her sexual perogatives. I've been instructed to get a strap-on dildo that feels good to her, so she can be satisfied while indulging me in my fantasy of longer-term denial. More of that "be careful what you wish for" meeting of fantasy and reality...

So yes, there can be a case of "excessive" masturbation, and it can be "corrected" through the use of a chastity belt. In my case, I was masturbating so much it was affecting our lovemaking. Eliminating the masturbation has improved that situation 1000 fold. I very much enjoy being belted, not only for the eventual payoff of great sex, but for the near-constantr feeling of arousal being belted produces. Being horny produces endorphins all on its own, so I'm very slightly stoned most of the time, when belted.

All in all, a nearly perfect solution. We're still working on the metal-detector problem...
