My belt did not fit, despite the care I took in making the measurements. So, I felt the need to get my stainless steel chastity belt modified. I had several long-distance telephone conversations with Bill and was all set to fly cross-country to have him make the adjustments when it occurred to me that, in the large city I live in, surely there were "adult-oriented" businesses and perhaps one of them could do some adjustments or know of someone who could.
My idea paid off. I visited a local leatherwear shop and saw that they sold quite a few chrome steel products (arm bands, collars, that sort of thing). I asked the clerk where the steel items came from. He wanted to know why I wanted to know. Taking a breath, I truthfully explained all about my chastity belt and that I needed some adjustments made. The clerk didn't seem too shocked. He just nodded and murmured "uh-huh" several times as I spoke. As I spoke, I could feel my confidence growing. The clerk made a telephone call and then gave me the name (first name only) and local telephone number of the individual who had manufactured the steel products for sale in the store. After thanking the clerk, I left the store.
I subsequently called the number and spoke with the steelworker. His name is Lonnie. (I don't know if that is a real name or not.) Anyway, I met with Lonnie several days later. Lonnie had never seen a "real" chastity belt and wanted to look it over (I wasn't wearing it at the time). He looked it over carefully, remarking that the workmanship was very good and that it sure looked very secure.
To get to the point, he rounded the waist band, reduced the waist band (cut the waist band and took out about an inch and then rewelded it and also welded on another piece so that the area cut would NEVER break or bend). He also tightened up the slack in the backside chains, filed off the edges of the waistband so they're not so "sharp," (I asked if he could weld on rounded edges but we compromised on his doing the filing), and one other thing. The belt is nice and snug.
One other thing I have done: I found a business locally with sells neoprene rubber. I purchased several feet of it. Lonnie has also replaced the rubber edging which WJ used on the belt. This neoprene rubber is a much better "edge guard" (a ***LOT*** more comfortable).
