I spoke to Walter Goethals this afternoon.
There is a new option available for the male belts: modifications for extreme hot weather. It includes extra perforations in the tube, and extra hinges on the sides of the waist belt. According to Walter, it was even comfortable to wear in Africa in the summer.
It's an extra $100, and he didn't seem to think it was justified for moderate heat (Maryland), but if someone is planning to be belted through, say, a Galveston summer, it might be worth it.
A few extra tidbits:
The lead time for getting a belt is now less than two months, since he now has his wife working on some of the finishing and polishing.
He doesn't have a problem taking personal checks for the deposit. (And, presumably, for the final payment.)
The diameter of the standard penis tube he uses is 43mm; there is also a larger size available, 47mm.
They will be getting on the Net, to at least some degree, fairly soon: he has gotten a modem for his computer but hasn't gotten around to installing it yet.
