Review of Lori's #7 device

Submitted by: ChrisAnon

As there are many Lori's reviews here, I won't bore anybody with a long-winded recitation of the details that are repeated in every review, namely:

  • Once it is on, it isn't going anywhere.
  • Lori's customer service is beyond awesome. Lots of service before and after the sale. The only criticism that I would have is that updates about the status of my order were slow in coming as the date of completion neared.

My device is a #7 (straight) Lori's tube. You can see it on her site here: http://www.chastitytube.com/pauliescreations.html (mine is the one that was posted on 5/2/06).

I've been playing around with chastity for at least 5 years, although I didn't buy my first device (a CB-3000) until 2004. I also bought a CB-2000 last year, and the KSD-G2 inserts for both of them. Unfortunately, my anatomy is not suited to either device - I have 2 non-standard problems:

  • When flaccid, my penis tends to "turtle", shrinking down (especially when it is cold) to an inch or less long.
  • Despite the turtling problem, I'm girthy, and definitely wider than the users for which the CB-2000 and -3000 were designed.

When combined, it makes it very difficult to wear either device for very long - the turtling tends to pull the cock head almost out of either device (this problem IS alleviated by the KSD's). When the inevitable erection begins at some point during the day, my penis gets hung up about halfway down the shaft.

Anyway, I had reason to believe that the PA feature of the Lori's tube would solve enough of both problems to make dropping $500 worth it. Off I went to get a PA. One word on that - I've had shots of novacaine from my dentist that were WAY more painful than the PA. I placed my order for the device and sat back to wait for 3 months.

When the device arrived, I knew immediately that it was the wrong size. I had measured myself on a hot day in August. It was now a cool morning in November, and if I managed to get the device on, I'd surely be putting a tremendous amount of stress onto my PA.

After contacting Lori, it was clear that I needed to get a smaller device. She graciously allowed me to re-list my device on her "devices for sale" page, and after it sold, I started the waiting game again. This time it was about 4 months because Paulie, who makes the devices, was very sick for about 2 weeks.

This time when the device arrived, I had the right fit. Getting the PA pin through took a little doing, and the locking system is a little unusual, but as I said, once it is on, it is on.

My first weekend of wearing the device did not go tremendously well. Part of it was my body getting used to its new fetter. Part of it was some manufacturing errors - specifically, the hole for the PA pin is off-center by about 3/16", and the radius of the curve of the pin itself was less than I had been used to (I had been wearing a curved barbell in the PA). Doesn't seem like a lot, but when I had the pin coming straight up and through, it was actually putting a lot of pressure on the left side of the penis head. I woke that Sunday with a tremendous pain, and went to remove the device. Very carefully, I was able to tease the pin out, and when I looked at it, I saw a little bit of blood, and put the device on the shelf for a while.

After 2 weeks of healing time, I realized that I wanted to try again - the solution ended up being that I needed to put the pin in at an angle, so that it pointed towards the right. Once I made this modification, I've been able to wear the device basically non-stop for the past 21 days. The thing is, even if I wasn't into chastity, I'd probably wear it anyway - it just feels cool to have something down there, and is way more comfortable than any of the plastic devices ever were.

Overall, this device has met or exceeded just about every expectation I had.
