CB-2000 - Using Plastic Lock Through Prince Albert

Submitted by: chastitech

The numerous complaints about being able to pull out of the CB-2000 can all be addressed by getting a Prince Albert (P.A.) piercing.

I can't recommend this highly enough. Not only does it make the CB-2000 (and the Curve and the CB-3000) impossible to pull out of, but it also:

  • Hurts when it is first done, which means you suffer for your Keyholder.

  • Looks cool (IMHO).

  • Accepts a leash, both when in and out of the CB.

  • Forces you to urinate sitting down, even when out of the CB.

  • Enhances pleasure during sex for both you and your partner (at least for us-your experience may differ).

  • Allows you to use a larger A ring (without the hinge) and thicker spacers, for a more comfortable fit, without compromising security. (In fact, the CB no longer needs to rely on testicle constriction for security-the testicles become more just a way to stabilize and hold the cage in place. The serious work is accomplished by the P.A.) This is critical for me, because we were unable to find a ring and spacer combination that was tight enough to be secure but loose enough to avoid circulation and chafing problems.

Locking the P.A. to the front of the CB-2000 is simplicity itself-in fact, I think the designer originally intended for the CB-2000 to be used in combination with a P.A. Certainly he included the necessary slot to accommodate a P.A. (which is not as true of the Curve and CB-3000). All that is required is to take a second plastic lock, run the U part through the slot between the outside rim of the front of the cage and the small vertical post on the left on the front of the cage, then through the P.A., and back out through the slot on the right (this is hard to describe but easy to understand from a picture, so I have included a front view showing the lock, slots, and P.A.).

It's easy to get the U through the first slot and through the P.A. It's more difficult to get it through the second slot. You have to push the U into the cage area, catch the end of the U with your pinky fingernail, and gently guide it into the second slot. This takes some practice. The first few times, I applied too much force to the end of the U, and broke off one of the locking prongs. Now I can do it in about fifteen seconds.

This is still not a perfect solution. The U protrudes into the cage area, which allows the penis to retract somewhat. And the part of the U inside the cage hurts if I become tumescent (well, as tumescent as possible given that I'm encased in a CB!). This could be hot for some people-it does provide negative feedback that discourages erections-but my Wife actually enjoys forcing me to become "erect" inside the CB, so in our case the pain is an unwanted feature. Also, the front lock hangs down so low that it can touch things I would rather not touch when sitting on the toilet. I am working on a solution that involves some polycarbonate tubes glued to the outside of the cage to hold the lock. When I have that working, I will post another article. But in the meantime, this is a pretty good approach.

To avoid irritation from the plastic lock, I cover it with CB-3000/Curve Hinge Sleeve, as described here.
