Review of Neosteel She-Male Belt

Submitted by: Gary

Dear AB,

I thought you and your readers might like a review of my experience with Neosteel when I recently ordered their new She-Male belt.

I got my first Neosteel belt a little over a year ago and was just starting to really get used to wearing it when I noticed that I had some rash and itching where the waist band fit. I thought maybe this was just from the friction of a non porous surface against the skin for extended periods. However, as I wore the belt more, the condition got worse and took longer to heal each time I wore the belt. I contacted Neosteel to see if they had heard of an allergic reaction to the neoprene used on the waist belt, and they said that the material was nearly inert and they had not had any notice of problems. I finally determined that it was an allergic reaction by trying all sorts of lubricants and powder to eliminate it, nothing worked until I started wearing a T-shirt under the waist band, then it stopped.

When I informed Neosteel of the problem and asked if any other material, specifically silicone, was available for the liner they said no, but would check into providing it. They sent me a strip of silicone to put on the inside of the existing liner and it worked, no rash but the sharp edges of the strip cut into the skin and it would not stay on the neoprene. When I let Neosteel know, they said that no one had anything like that liner in a silicone material and if they wanted it, they would have to pay to have the molds manufactured and the liners made. When they had contact with several others who had the same problem, they decided to have the molds made in order to offer a silicone waist liner, they are still the only manufacturer to do so. Silicone is the material of choice for most medical devices because it does not create allergic reactions. The bad news was that it would take about four months to get that done.

nt90604a.jpg While I was waiting for the silicone liner to become available, Neosteel brought out the She-Male belt. The belt is for a male and has the Neosteel type penis tube with the hooded top and angle cut bottom to match the front shield, but looks like a female belt with the front shield installed. This idea intrigued me, not only for the look, I mean if you have to sit to urinate why not look like a female in the belt? But also because of the single lock mechanism, the lower lock of the male belt made a bulge at the wrong place in my pants, the single high lock would eliminate that. Anyone who is interested in the feminization of their wearers will appreciate the fact that no bulge will show under panties or other female attire as well.

I personally have found that the belt is fully functional as a CB without the front shield installed, and wear mine that way most of the time. These next pictures show the plate removed, and then with it in place.

The silicone liner is a little different as well and I like the change. With even the slightest bit of moisture, not completely wet, the material gets tacky and seems to adhere to the skin slightly. This prevents the belt from slipping at all, I think you could eliminate this with talcum powder if you wanted, but so far I prefer it the way it is.

nt90604e.jpg One other thing that Neosteel offers on all their belts now, is an option for hooking up a TENS unit to the belt and an optional dildo. The dildo comes in two different styles, a straight and what Neosteel calls a wave shape, a picture of the wave shape dildo I have, installed in the rear shield along with the TENS unit is included. The other hook up is in the front shackle shroud, the sensation it produces when the tip of the penis contacts the front shield, is anything from just a tickle to a really erotic almost vibrator type feeling, to flat out uncomfortable.

They have made a couple of other minor changes in the front shield and penis tubes to increase sitting comfort and increase the clearance for defecation, they both worked. This belt fits really snug, but is not uncomfortable to sit in and I've not had any messes so far in the bathroom. Small changes yes, but really effective ones.

As always in my dealings with Neosteel, they were quite patient, friendly and helpful. Their belts all come with a mirror polish and the workmanship is flawless. They advertise delivery in six weeks from receipt of payment and they made that to the day on the first belt, the She-Male belt came in just over five weeks. Considering that the belt had to come from Europe to the US and through Customs, this is outstanding. By the way, for Customs purposes, the belts are labeled as "Metal Fashion Accessory Belt". It and the first belt came through without a hitch and no duty was due.

When one considers the fact that most people have to have some modifications made to their first belts, and sometimes second or third, having a manufacture who is so good to work with really helps make the realization of forced long term chastity more easily attained. I'd recommend Neosteel to anyone wanting a belt of the Tollyboy style.
